Guildlock is an in-person Deadlock LAN event bringing together players, teams, spectators, creators, and community members for a full weekend of competition and community.

No. Guildlock is a community-run Deadlock event and is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Valve unless otherwise stated.
Players, spectators, creators, sponsors, and community members are welcome. Some areas or activities may require specific tickets, credentials, or registration.
Tickets & Registration
Yes. Spectators and attendees will need a valid event ticket for entry before 3:00 PM. Starting at 3:00 PM, entry will be free and open to the public until close.

Door availability will depend on venue capacity. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance if you plan to arrive before 3:00 PM.

Tournament
Guildlock is focused on Deadlock.
The current plan is to run online qualifiers for up to 16 teams, with advancing filling qualifier spots to compete alongside our invited teams for the LAN event. Final format details will be announced closer to the event and may depend on registration, schedule, and production requirements.

The prize pool is currently being crowdfunded, with an initial contribution from Guildhouse. Eido is also donating 50% of proceeds from his July subathon to the prize pool. Additional sponsor contributions will be announced as partnerships are confirmed.
Melee Creeps and FPS Lounge have been invited to the LAN event. Additional teams have been contacted, with attendance still pending. The remaining LAN slots will be filled through qualifiers.
The tournament will be played using Valve’s online custom lobbies.
Spectators & On-Site Experience
Spectators can watch live matches, meet other community members, support teams, participate in side activities where available, and experience Deadlock competition in person.

Outside food and drink policies are determined by the venue. We’ll publish venue-specific rules before the event.
Age requirements will be confirmed with the venue and ticketing details. Because alcohol will be available at the event, wristbands or other age-verification measures may be used. If minors are allowed, additional supervision or consent policies may apply.

The goal is to make event content available after the LAN, including clips, photos, recap content, and VOD access where possible. Guildhouse VODs are currently restricted to subscribers and may also be made available to partners.
Photos and videos are welcome at the event, as long as they do not interfere with players, staff, production, or venue operations.

Conduct & Safety
Yes. All attendees, players, staff, sponsors, and guests are expected to follow the event code of conduct. Harassment, threats, cheating, abuse, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Guildlock staff may issue warnings, remove attendees from the venue, disqualify players or teams, revoke credentials, or escalate to venue/security staff depending on severity.
